Global navigations solutions company NNG has tied up with India-based Ayana Navigation Solutions (ANS) to bring to the country a personal navigation device called the A501.
The navigator comes with a 5-inch display and is loaded with the iGo prime software by NNG with over seven million points of interest. It has features such as point addressing for more exact destination-finding and natural guidance for voice guidance in the natural way humans instruct each other, making reference to landmarks like shops, monuments and bridges.

Plus, there is an enhanced junction view offering realistic and high-quality images of junctions that simplify turning maneuvers and live traffic message that warns the deriver of congested road sections.
Users can also fix destination using the Integrate Quick search feature that searches the location as soon as the first three letters are keyed in.
Speaking at the launch, Peter Bolesza, Vice President of EEU and Emerging Markets at NNG, said India has a diverse demography and with increased urbanisation, navigation solutions have become the need of the hour.
The navigator, which will cost around Rs 17,000, comes with a one-year map update and will be availabe in the stores from this October.
