Call 1913 for garbage clearance or stormwater drains


Chennai Corporation’s e-complaint system has registered 23,303 complaints in a year. The complaints were mostly on solid waste management, street lights, stormwater drains, irregular garbage clearance, mosquito menace and stray dog menace.

The public grievance redressal (PGR) has helped consumers register their complaints without queuing up at the zonal offices. Moreover the complaint is sent to the right department for instant action informed, Corporation commissioner P W C Davidar.
